1. Purpose
This Training & Compliance Policy sets forth the responsibilities of all ambassadors, members, and representatives of For The People B.V. to ensure ethical conduct, legal compliance, and the protection of the company’s values and brand reputation.
2. Responsibility for Familiarity with Policies
All ambassadors and members of For The People B.V. are expected to read, understand, and comply with all company policies, terms, and guidelines. While formal training is encouraged, it is the sole responsibility of each individual to remain informed and up to date. Ignorance of the rules shall not excuse non-compliance.
3. Conduct Standards
All representatives must:
- Refrain from making unsubstantiated claims or financial guarantees;
- Respect the confidentiality and privacy of all customers and team members;
- Operate in accordance with all applicable local laws and For The People B.V. policies;
- Act in a manner that upholds the integrity of For The People B.V. at all times.
4. Independent Status
Nothing in this Policy shall be interpreted as creating an employment relationship, partnership, agency, or joint venture between any ambassador and For The People B.V. Ambassadors act as independent contractors and are solely responsible for their own legal and tax obligations.
5. Prohibited Activities
The following conduct is strictly forbidden:
- Cross-recruiting or poaching members from other teams;
- Unauthorized disclosure of internal strategies or company data;
- Use of unapproved materials or misrepresentation of the brand;
- Engaging in unlawful, unethical, or harmful marketing practices.
Where appropriate, the affected ambassador may be given the opportunity to respond or provide clarification before final action is taken, unless immediate action is necessary to protect the company’s interests.
6. Compliance Monitoring
For The People B.V. reserves the right to monitor ambassador activities, investigate reported conduct, and take appropriate corrective action.
Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, the company may:
- Issue a formal warning;
- Require corrective action within a specified timeframe;
- Suspend access to services or training materials;
- Withhold or suspend commissions;
- Terminate the Ambassador Agreement.
All enforcement actions shall be taken in accordance with applicable Dutch law.
7. Reporting Violations
Ambassadors and members must comply with applicable laws in their jurisdiction, including but not limited to Dutch and EU consumer protection laws, advertising standards, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), anti-bribery legislation, and anti-money laundering regulations. Suspected violations or unethical behavior must be reported confidentially via email to: compliance@startwithftp.com. All reports will be reviewed by our compliance team and investigated discreetly.
8. Legal Compliance
Ambassadors and members must comply with applicable laws in their jurisdiction, including but not limited to consumer protection, advertising standards, GDPR and data privacy rules, anti-bribery, and anti-money laundering regulations. Unauthorized use of intellectual property may result in legal action. All intellectual property rights remain exclusively with For The People B.V. No license or ownership rights are granted except as expressly permitted in writing.
9. Intellectual Property and Confidentiality
All educational content, internal materials, and company assets are proprietary to For The People B.V. No content may be shared, duplicated, or published without express written permission. Ambassadors are bound by confidentiality both during and after their engagement.
10. Amendments and Notification
For The People B.V. may update this Policy for legitimate business reasons and in accordance with applicable Dutch law. Where material changes are made, reasonable notice will be provided through official communication channels. Continued participation after the Effective Date of the updated Policy constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Dutch law, For The People B.V. shall not be liable for independent actions taken by ambassadors or members that violate this Policy or applicable law. Each ambassador remains fully responsible for their own conduct.
